We are excited to announce a new collaboration and mentoring scheme between the Sierra Leone Association of Women in Science and Engineering [SLAWiSE] and the Cambridge Association of Women in Science and Engineering [CamAWiSE] SLAWiSE, a regional network for Women in STEM in industry, enterprise and academia was founded in 2013 with mentorship support from CamWiSE.

SLAWiSE aims to build and preserve the participation of women in STEM fields and organizes capacity building/networking meetings as well as access to mentoring. The collaboration with CamAWiSE aims to connect researchers and professionals from a broad range of backgrounds, expertise, and geographical location. In particular, we aim to provide a space for Sierra Leonean RECAP (Research Capacity Strengthening programme) professionals to connect and have access to support from an international pool of mentors.
