Dr. Bridget Bannerman

DR. BRIDGET BANNERMAN

Dr. Bridget Bannerman is the founder of Science Resources Africa, an initiative embarking on capacity building and enhancing the availability of scientific resources to the African Community. Through this association, Bridget collaborates with various scientists in the University of Cambridge to promote science education in African communities.

A multi-dimensional scientific and socio-economic development research consultant with experience in: - Bioinformatics, identification of drug targets, evolutionary biology, comparative genomics, computational biology - Promoting capacity building in science education in sub-Saharan Africa and gender mainstreaming - Project Management.

Dr. Jenny Koenig

DR. JENNY KOENIG

Dr. Jenny Koenig is Dean at Lucy Cavendish College, a college for women over 21 in the University of Cambridge. She has a strong background in research in receptor pharmacology with many collaborations with the pharmaceutical industry. Her interests now lie primarily in science education, particularly in pharmacology and the areas of biology where mathematics is important. She is a Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society and received the first International Union of Pharmacologists Receptor Mechanisms Award for her work in the mathematical modelling of drug-receptor interactions.

Isata Esther Sesay

ISATA ESTHER SESAY

Isata Esther Sesay is a Physicist and works for the Sierra Leone Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Authority where she protects the people and the environment from the harmful effect of radiation. She is an experienced physical scientist skilled in radiation and health physics, document editing, sciences, public speaking and Microsoft Office suite.She is anardent research professional with a Master of Science in Radiation and Health Physics at the University of Ibadan Nigeria. She also has a Bachelor of Pure and Applied Sciences (BSc) Honors in Physics from Fourah Bay College University of Sierra Leone. Prior to this, she worked as a Science Teacher at the Serra Leone Grammar School, worked as a journalist at Cotton Tree News (CTN), Sierra Leone and Skyy Women World Network.Presently she is the President of Sierra Leone Association of Women in Science and Engineering. She is also the Lead Project Instructor of Science Resource Africa. She is a Fellow of Young Africa Leaders Initiative Cohort six and also a Fellow of the Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS).She is passionate about issues of women and young girls and also Public Management.
